Samuel Weliever 77 years of age, a well-known contractor of this city, died at his home, north Washington street, last night of 10 o'clock. His death was due to complication of diseases and to the effects of old age. Mr. Weliver was born December 17, 1846 , in Montgomery county, and had lived in and near Crawfordsville all of his life. He was united in marriage to Miss Mary J. Williams, who preceded him in death twelve years ago. Six children were born to this union, two of which died in infancy, and another son died twenty years ago. The surviving children are Mrs. Florence Delaney of Indianapolis, Leander Weliver of Indianapolis, and C. E. Weliver of this city. the deceased was very well known in this city, having been a resident since 1887, and having lived near Crawfordsville all his life.
